Liquid

What is Liquid?

Liquid is a contemporary way to study the Bible by translating ancient stories into the language and issues of today.  Because what’s the point in putting together a study of God’s Word that doesn’t help us to deal with the issues we actually face?

Each session starts with a short film presenting true-to-life stories of people with real problems and struggles that mirror the same struggles found in scripture.  Then we’ll reflect and discuss relevant questions to help you discover truth based on your perspective.  Everyone’s discoveries will be different, but that’s what’s great about God’s truth – it’s one truth but it’s formed differently around each person.  It’s simply about taking in, reflecting, and coming up with something useful for your life.

February/March Films:

The next five sessions will be from Crossing – Life is a journey. All along the way we reach points where we have to decide if we’re going to step out in faith and let God take our lives to a different place, or if we’re going to let fear and insecurity paralyze us and keep us from crossing over. Making a crossing always calls for uncommon courage, faith, and obedience. Joshua demonstrated this in winning the land God had promised to his people.  The only way to get to the other side of life’s challenges and changes is to step out in faith and cross over—just like Joshua and the Israelites.
