LOGOS means the Word.
Logos is our mid-week Christian program for children and youth from pre-K to 5th grade. On Thursday’s after school until early evening your family can experience living the Christian faith through Bible exploration, recreation, family style dinners, and exciting music. Events during the year include the Thursday night Kick-Off with a “camp fire”, The Harvest Moon night (Trunk & Treat), Camp-in from Friday night to Saturday morning, mission project and Spring Picnic in the Park. We asked each parent to volunteer in the program in some capacity, such as, kitchen help, table parent, class room teacher or assistant, recreation coordinator, etc. The program runs from mid-September to the first Thursday in May. The Farmington School calendar is followed regarding school breaks or weather related closures. The pre-K children, Cherub Choir, sing once a month at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Service. The LOGOS choir children rotate each month, singing at the 9:30 a.m. service and the next month at the 11:15 a.m. service.
There is a fee for the year to cover supplies and dinner costs.
