United Methodist Women
Purpose of United Methodist Women - The organized Unit of UMW shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Membership in United Methodist Women
- ANY WOMAN may become a member of the unit who accepts the purpose and is willing to participate in the work of the unit each year through prayer, giving and service.
Meetings
- General Meetings: 4th Wednesday of the month at noon in Wesley Hall. Usually bring a sandwich, with occasinal potlucks. Includes a 30-40 minute program with short business meeting. No meetings in July & August.
- Anna Cook Circle: 2nd Wednesday of the month at noon in Wesley Hall. Bring a sandwich. Occasional short program. No meetings in June, July & August.
- Lydia Circle: 3rd Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in a member’s home. Refreshments, business metting and program. No meetings in July & August.
