United Methodist Women

Purpose of United Methodist Women - The organized Unit of UMW shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Membership in United Methodist Women

  • ANY WOMAN may become a member of the unit who accepts the purpose and is willing to participate in the work of the unit each year through prayer, giving and service.

Meetings

  • General Meetings: (noon) meets 4th Wednesday 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with lunch, a 30-40 minute program and short business meeting following. No meetings in July & August. A nursery is provided when needed by request.
  • Anna Cook Circle: (noon) meets 2nd Wednesday 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. bring brown bag lunch, an occasional short program. No meetings in June, July & August.
  • Susanna Wesley Circle: (evenings) meets 2nd Wednesday 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. with dessert and a short program. No meetings in June, July & August.[Inactive]
  • Mary Martha Play Circle: (mornings) for moms and preschoolers meet EVERY Tuesday 10:30 11:30 with occasional UMW programs some 2nd Tuesday. No meetings in June, July & August.[Inactive]
