Worship Schedule
Worship Service Times and Descriptions
February 5 – 5th Sunday after the Epiphany We have all been told not to be judgmental. After all, isn’t that what Jesus said? But wait a second. Is that the whole story and what does God really expect from us here? You should read Matthew 7:1-5, 15-16 as Pastor Bob continues our Mythbusters series with Christians shouldn’t judge. We will also celebrate Holy Communion.
February 12 – 6th Sunday after the Epiphany When you are forced to deal with a serious moral question, just let your conscience be you guide. Or is that really a good idea? When we depend on our conscience for direction, are we being guided by God’s will for us or are we being guided by our own will for ourselves? Please read Jeremiah 17:9 & 1 Corinthians 4:4-5 as Pastor Bob concludes our Mythbusters series with Let your conscience be your guide.
February 19 – Last Sunday after the Epiphany Please read Luke 10:1-2, 5-9 as our Katrina Mission Team shares their experiences and we are all challenged to go out in Jesus’ name, serving, loving, and spreading the Good News.
February 22 – Ash Wednesday We gather to begin the observance of the season of Lent as we confess and turn from our mistakes, confirm our dependence on God, and confront our own mortality in this service of healing and forgiveness.
February 26 – 1st Sunday in Lent Most of us have had the experience of a first day on a new job. Please read Mark 1:9-15 as Pastor Bob talks about Jesus’ first day on his new job.
